Saturday was no exception, although temperatures rose and the sun was bright midday.  The 2022 Rush Springs Watermelon Queen made an appearance, got in on the fun and took a run or two down the hill in an exhibit race.  County Commissioner Ralph Beard was also on hand to cheer on the dragsters and take a ride himself. No matter the age, everyone participating and spectating had a wonderful time.

Drivers included: Pippir Gaebler, Paislee Wilmon, Stoney Gaebler, Brennon McCullen, Blakelyn Adair, Langston Nye, Logan Nye, Jax White, Kadyn Humphrey in the 13 and under division; and, Woodrow and Levi Sweat, Wianna Simmons, Destiny Melton, Daysha Melton, Tiffany Melton, Nichole Gaebler, Tell Cross, Becky Wagner, Kasyn Humphrey, Kevyn Humphrey, Teresa Humphrey, Ryan and Aubrey Chastain and Travis and Waylon Malone in the over 13 division.
